Audiometric Room

Thermofabs Acoustic Enclosure For Generators

Expensive buildings are not required to house the Generator, from the scorching sun in the tropics, sand and dust in the deserts, wind and rain and from rodents. A protection that greatly extends the life of the power plant.

The Thermofabs enclosures are suitable for DG Sets equipped with engines manufactured by M/s Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd., M/s Cummins India Ltd., M/s Hindustan Power Plant Ltd.(Caterpillar) and also are suitable for other engines models available in the field such as Perkins, Volvo-Perta, Leylands etc.

The thickness of these panels are available in 50mm, l00mm and 150mm. Different acoustic infill and different thickness of metal sheet are used depending on the application to ensure excellent performance and cost effectiveness without sacrificing quality. Specific percentage of perforation sheets, which hold the in fill, is specially selected to give the optimum overall noise absorption coefficient. The diamandable framework is fitted with sound absorbing panels, door and airflow louvers completely enclosing. There is provision for flow of cool air around the enclosure as prescribed by the engine manufacturers.
